A Story of Wolves

A Story of Wolves

Wolves are part of the Native American life and history. There used to be 52 different species of wolves in the world. We have only 12 now. If I didn’t take them, they would be exterminated.
— Tonya Littlewolf, A.K.A. Mama Wolf – Founder, leader, and teacher of the Wolf Mountain Sanctuary

This is the story of Tonya Littlewolf. She has rescued wolves all her life. At a sanctuary in the empty California desert, she looks after 14 majestic wolves which have been rescued from breeders. Yet, as she cares for the creatures, even feeding them mouth-to-mouth, Tonya questions whether these wolves would be better off in the wild.
